A washroom is the wettest, hardest-working room in any commercial building. Cubicles made from plywood or MDF swell at the base within a few years. C&S Projects fabricates and installs restroom cubicles from compact HPL, which is waterproof through its full thickness, so the partitions stay straight and hygienic for the life of the fit-out.

The material
Washrooms are mopped daily and flooded weekly. The base of a cubicle is where cheaper boards fail first: water wicks into the core, the edge banding lifts and the panel swells. Compact HPL has no core to protect. It is the same dense material all the way through.
The panel does not absorb water, so there is no swelling, rot or peeling edge banding.
Non-porous and easy to wipe down with standard cleaning products.
Resists impact, scratching and the daily knocks of a public washroom.

Cubicles are quoted per project, because the number of cubicles, the panel thickness and the hardware grade all vary.
