Choosing the right adhesive
The tile, its size, where it is going and what is underneath decide the adhesive. Where it is going decides the grout.

Why epoxy grout is worth the extra cost
Cement grout is porous. In a Sri Lankan bathroom that means it absorbs water, darkens and grows mould. Epoxy grout is non-absorbent and resistant to stains and cleaning chemicals, so the joints stay the colour you chose. It costs more and needs a skilled applicator, but it removes the single most common complaint about tiled bathrooms.
