Fire rated partitions and ceilings
The same board gives different ratings depending on the number of layers, the stud size, the insulation and how joints and penetrations are sealed. We build to the board manufacturer's tested system for the rating your fire consultant requires, and we seal service penetrations to match. Build a wall below to see what has to be right.

Acoustic partitions
Sound travels through gaps, over the ceiling and through back-to-back sockets. A sound-rated wall combines high-density boards, insulation in the cavity, staggered joints and acoustic sealant at the perimeter, built from slab to slab.
