Ultracare Rust Remover

UltraCare Rust Remover is a fast-acting, acid-free, thick consistency cleaner specically formulated for removing rust stains also from acid-sensitive materials such as limestone, including when polished. The thick consistency of the product optimises its efficiency, thus reducing waste. The gradual reaction of UltraCare Rust Remover makes it possible to easily define the contact time to remove deep rust stains.The product can be applied repeatedly with no damage risks for the material to be treated. Recommendations If the product is left in contact with the surface for too long (or in case of particularly deep rust stains), a light purple halation can persist on the material. If that is the case, treat the surface using a mix of peroxide and bicarbonate until the halation disappears completely, then rinse and repeat the application of UltraCare Rust Remover as described above. Always carry out preliminary tests on the surface to be treated in order to verify its compatibility with the product. Application Procedure Dampen the surface to be cleaned using water. Apply UltraCare Rust Remover in a coat of approx 1 to 3 mm thick on the stained areas. When in contact with rust, the product reacts turning a purple colour. Reaction time varies depending on the material's absorbency and the depth reached by rust. Remove the product and rinse the surface after application and appearance of the purple colour and in any case by 5-10 minutes. In case rust stains are still present after rinsing and drying the surface, this process can be repeated up to total rust removal. Consumption One 125 ml bottle of UltraCare Rust Remover can clean approximately 0.5 m2 of surface. Consumption is heavily influenced by the amount and type of dirt and kind of surface to be treated.
